Serving Kerr’s Borders Gin
We’re serving two classic Kerr’s Borders Gin cocktails, that will make the botanical flavours of our barley-based gin really sing. Just some idea’s to get those serves inspired!
Created from malted barley spirit, Kerr’ Gin is infused with juniper, citrus and earthy botanicals, giving you a complex and fresh flavours. Perfect for your Saturday afternoon cocktails.
Kerr’s G&T
Named in honour of Scottish scientist, Sir Alexander Fleming, this whisky cocktail is said to have similar soothing effects to a ‘hot toddy’. While we can’t claim it will cure a cold this festive season, you’re sure to enjoy the zing of this lemony ginger cocktail made with The Long & Short of It blended whisky.
Ingredients (serves one)
- 50ml Kerr’s gin
- FeverTree Mediterranean tonic
- Cubed ice
- Wedge of fresh orange
Method
Pour gin over lots of ice in a highball glass. Top up with tonic. Stir, then garnish wish a slice of orange.
Kerr’s Negroni
If you want to spice up your evening bbq’s, Kerr’s Negroni, would be the best way to show off your cocktail making skills, “What, like it’s hard?”
Ingredients (serves two)
- 50ml Kerr’s gin
- 25ml sweet vermounth
- 25ml Campari
Method
Stir the ingredients together in an ice-filled tumbler until slightly diluted and very cold. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass, garnish with an orange twist.
